Artists from different countries participate in the exhibition ‘El Verdial y el Arte’ in Periana on the occasion of Olive Oil Day

The international multicultural exhibition will have 56 participants and will open on Sunday, April 24

The Antonio Montes cultural association, with the collaboration of the Periana City Council and the Almazara cultural association, opens this Sunday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m. the exhibition ‘El Verdial y El Arte’ in the town’s María Zambrano assembly hall. It is an international multicultural exhibition that will have 56 participants and that can be visited until April 30. The exhibition coincides with the celebration in Periana of the XXI Oil Day.

International artists from countries such as Spain, Italy, China, Germany, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, Bolivia or Panama, among others, will meet in this exhibition, which includes various participants with disabilities. The Councilor for Culture of the Periana City Council, Paloma Díaz, has highlighted “the quality and artistic variety of the artists who exhibit”, while inviting “all the residents of the region to come and visit it to be able to enjoy these plays”.
Of the 56 participants, 46 are international artists, while the other 10 are Spanish photographers. There will be 13 Colombian artists, 9 from Mexico, 8 from Peru, 5 from Chile, 2 from Costa Rica and Guatemala, and 1 from Italy, Germany, Bolivia, China, Panama and El Salvador. The Antonio Montes cultural association has among its objectives “to publicize artists with disabilities, emerging, empirical, with a career or who promote gender equality at the national and international level.”
